In a recent statement, Andrija Klikovac, head of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the city assembly, criticized Aleksandar Nišavić, the director of Vodovod Podgorica, for his inability to address ongoing water turbidity issues.

According to Klikovac, Nišavić has offered various excuses for the problems plaguing the water supply. He listed reasons including ageing pipes, malfunctioning SCADA systems, recent earthquakes in Nikšić, heavy rainfall, and even issues related to the construction of the Knjaz estate, along with blockages in the Mareza channel. Despite these claims, water quality remains a concern, and residents continue to report murky water.

In his remarks, Klikovac highlighted the impact of these issues on businesses that import bottled water, suggesting that they have shown gratitude for Nišavić’s management style.
