Authorities in Plav are investigating two minors suspected of stealing a vehicle parked at the local bus station. The Regional Security Centre “North” has reported that the boys, aged 17 and 14, allegedly entered an unlocked Volkswagen Golf during the night between January 22 and 23, 2026, started the engine, and drove away.

Incident Details and Police Response

The vehicle’s owner, identified as A.D., reported the car missing to the police on January 23, 2026. In a swift response, police officers managed to investigate the incident and quickly identify the suspects. The stolen vehicle was soon located and returned to its owner.

According to the police administration, the minors are now facing charges for vehicle theft, and a special report has been submitted to the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Plav as a supplement to the criminal complaint.
