15-Year-Old Niksic Boy Arrested for Threatening Police Officers

A 15-year-old boy from Niksic has been arrested after allegedly threatening police officers during an inquiry. The incident took place within the premises of the Police Department of Niksic, where the minor reportedly directed multiple offensive and threatening remarks towards law enforcement personnel.

According to the Niksic police, the teenager is suspected of committing a criminal offense related to assaulting a public official while they were performing their official duties. Following the incident, the young suspect was taken into custody and subsequently transferred to the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Niksic for further legal proceedings.

The court has responded promptly, with the Basic Court in Niksic determining that the minor should be detained. As a result, he has been moved to the Correctional Facility in Spuz, where he will remain during the ongoing investigation. This development raises significant concerns about the safety of law enforcement officers and the behavior of minors in Montenegro.
