Wolf Alice’s Joff Oddie to Miss North American Tour for Baby’s Birth

Wolf Alice guitarist Joff Oddie has announced he will not participate in the band’s upcoming North American tour, as he awaits the birth of his first child. The tour kicks off on September 10, 2025, at the Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, and includes a total of eleven performances across the United States and Canada.
In a heartfelt message posted on the band’s official Facebook page, Oddie expressed his disappointment in missing the tour, stating, “I won’t be joining the guys on our North American tour as I’m awaiting the birth of my first baby. I’m sad I won’t be with you but I’ll be leaving you in the capable hands of John Victor, who is one of my fav all time guitarists and a lovely man to boot.” Victor is a member of the indie rock band Gengahr, known for their album Red Sun Titans, released in 2023.
The North American tour will showcase Wolf Alice’s recent work, including their latest single, ‘Bloom Baby Bloom’, and the critically acclaimed album, ‘The Clearing’. Following the North American dates, the band will head to Europe, performing in several major cities throughout November, before concluding their tour with seven shows in the UK and Ireland starting on November 28.

Following the North American leg, Wolf Alice will embark on a comprehensive European tour, with dates including:
– **November 5** – Annexet, Stockholm, Sweden
– **November 6** – KB Hallen, Copenhagen, Denmark
– **November 7** – Georg Elser Halle, Hamburg, Germany
– **November 9** – Progresja, Warsaw, Poland
– **November 10** – Lucerna Great Hall, Prague, Czech Republic
The UK and Ireland shows will begin in Manchester and wrap up in Dublin:

The band’s album, ‘The Clearing’, has received significant acclaim, with NME awarding it a five-star review, praising the band for their continuous growth and evolution in their music. Recently, they also performed a cover of Olivia Dean’s track ‘Nice To Each Other’ in the BBC Radio One Live Lounge, further showcasing their versatility and creativity.
