IShowSpeed Criticizes Fans for Dangerous Driving Near Tour Bus
IShowSpeed, the popular online streamer, has voiced his frustration towards fans endangering lives while following his tour bus. Since late August 2023, he has been traveling across the United States in a custom tour bus, streaming his journey live. Despite the excitement of meeting fans, the experience has been marred by dangerous driving incidents linked to his followers.
During a recent stop in Utah, the tour bus faced multiple interruptions due to fans driving erratically. According to reports, some fans were seen swerving dangerously close to the bus, braking suddenly, and attempting to box in the vehicle. This reckless behavior forced the bus to pull over several times, creating significant delays.
IShowSpeed, whose real name is Speed, was reportedly napping when the bus had to stop unexpectedly. Upon waking, he expressed disbelief at the chaotic scene unfolding outside. A crew member commented, “Fans cutting in, pinning us in, swerving in front, and then the cops needed witness statements from us.”
In a frustrated outburst, IShowSpeed addressed his followers directly during the live stream, saying, “Y’all are weird, bro. If you in this stream right now and you slowing down our bus, stop doing that. What the hell is you doing?” He emphasized the impact of their actions, noting, “Utah, you just f**ked up my f**king thing, bro. Y’all slowed me the f**k down!”
Impact of Reckless Fan Behavior
The dangerous driving not only put IShowSpeed and his crew at risk but also delayed their schedule. Although they eventually reached their next destination, where he was set to drive supercars on the salt flats, they arrived later than planned. Following police intervention, the cars trailing the bus vanished, indicating a serious concern for public safety.
This incident is not an isolated occurrence for IShowSpeed. Earlier in his tour, he faced challenges when a large crowd gathered around him in Houston, Texas, leading to a ban from a local mall. Furthermore, he was threatened with a “rioting” charge by law enforcement during a separate incident in Dallas, highlighting the ongoing issues he faces as a high-profile streamer.
As IShowSpeed continues his tour, he urges fans to respect safety and avoid reckless behavior. With his face prominently displayed on the side of the bus and live streaming capabilities, the potential for dangerous situations increases significantly. The streamer’s experience serves as a reminder of the responsibilities that come with fame and the importance of prioritizing safety for all involved.
