Human Remains Discovered in Search for Missing Man Andrzej Mucha

Police have discovered human remains in a field during the search for missing man Andrzej Mucha, who was last seen in November 2021. The 57-year-old was reported missing after making his last known contact with family on November 29. The remains were found on Grays Park Road in Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, as part of an ongoing investigation supported by Polish law enforcement.

Initially classified as a missing person, Andrzej was the subject of a murder investigation that commenced in April 2022. Two men were extradited to Poland in November 2022 to face trial related to his disappearance.

Police Investigation and Community Support

Detective Superintendent Andy Howard confirmed the discovery of the remains during a press conference. He stated, “The force has been supporting Polish law enforcement by carrying out searches in a field on Grays Park Road, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, since Tuesday, February 3. Sadly, during these searches, human remains have been discovered and now recovered from this area.”

The police have indicated that formal identification of the remains will take place, along with a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. Meanwhile, Andrzej’s family is receiving support from specialist officers as they navigate this difficult time.

Detective Superintendent Howard expressed gratitude towards the local community for their cooperation. He emphasized the importance of community involvement in the ongoing investigation, stating, “I would like to again thank the community for their cooperation while we are in the area carrying out these searches.”

The investigation continues as authorities work closely with Polish officials to gather more information regarding the circumstances surrounding Andrzej Mucha’s disappearance and the recently discovered remains.
