He noted that past pantomime schedules left him with limited time at home, often only having Christmas Day and New Year’s Day off. “I love Christmas like it’s ridiculous,” he said. “With the children now, it’s got to a whole new level. I love it.”

The dancer praised his wife, Hannah, for her support, describing her as “the most incredible person in the whole world.” The couple welcomed their twins in 2017 following successful IVF treatment. Reflecting on his past experiences, Du Beke mentioned his previous pantomime performances, which he enjoyed, but ultimately felt the pull to create a new holiday tradition. “I did it 10 or 12 years ago with the lovely Erin in the Albert Hall. That was the show I always wanted to do and I wanted to take that on the road,” he explained.
