FedEx Deletes Invoices Tied to Epstein’s Account After 2024 Use
Documents obtained by an independent investigative outlet reveal that shipments linked to Jeffrey Epstein‘s FedEx account were processed as recently as May 2024, nearly five years after his death on August 10, 2019. The invoices indicate that the account, which still listed Epstein as the holder and his former accountant, Bella Klein, as the administrator, remained active long after his passing.
The invoices were deleted from a publicly accessible dataset maintained by the Department of Justice (DOJ) shortly after they were identified by The Ditch, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding their removal. Despite inquiries directed at both FedEx and the DOJ, neither organization has provided an explanation for the deletion.
Invoices Uncovered and Subsequent Deletion Raise Eyebrows
The Ditch reported that the invoices, which detailed two shipments in 2024, were accessed after a significant release of documents related to Epstein under the Epstein Files Transparency Act in January 2026. This release, comprising 3.5 million pages, was intended to provide a comprehensive view of Epstein’s operations and finances. However, the discovery of active invoices following his death contradicts the narrative of a closed chapter in Epstein’s dealings.
One shipment, dated May 20, 2024, was collected from Gulfstream product support in Savannah, Georgia, and delivered to Plan D LLC, a now-dissolved company that previously operated Epstein’s private jet. The second shipment occurred on March 12, 2024, moving from the same Gulfstream address to Empire Aviation in West Palm Beach, Florida. These transactions, billed to an account belonging to a deceased individual, raise significant concerns about oversight and accountability.
Questions Surrounding Record Deletion and Account Activity
The nature of these shipments remains unclear, with no public documents indicating who authorized them or their specific purpose. While companies sometimes maintain accounts for extended periods after a holder’s death, the deletion of these invoices shortly after their discovery adds a layer of complexity to the situation.
During the trial of Ghislaine Maxwell in 2021, FedEx provided evidence and testimony regarding Epstein’s shipping account, confirming that records had been maintained since the early 2000s. This suggests that FedEx was aware of the account’s existence and its connection to Epstein, a convicted sex offender, for an extended period.
The absence of a clear rationale for the deletion of these invoices contradicts the principles of transparency that the DOJ aimed to uphold with the release of Epstein-related documents. Critics have noted that the removal of such records from an archive intended for public scrutiny raises broader concerns about the completeness and integrity of the released dataset.
The invoices not only document transactions linked to Epstein’s infrastructure but also highlight the ongoing implications of his extensive network. Among the contacts listed in Epstein’s account were approximately 100 individuals, including Maxwell and various business figures, which has generated considerable media attention and speculation.
As investigations into Epstein’s estate and associated civil suits continue, the deleted invoices represent a small yet significant detail. They underscore the persistent questions surrounding Epstein’s legacy and the operations that continued in his name well after his death. The actions of FedEx and the DOJ regarding these records could have far-reaching implications for transparency and accountability, particularly in high-profile cases involving serious allegations.
Both FedEx and the DOJ have been contacted for comments regarding the invoices and their subsequent deletion. At the time of writing, the questions surrounding these parcels remain unanswered, leaving a lingering uncertainty about the extent of Epstein’s operational legacy.
