Pljevlja Schools to Enhance Air Quality with New Purifiers
In response to rising air pollution levels in the municipality of Pljevlja, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation (MPNI) has announced plans to procure air purifiers for local schools. This initiative aims to safeguard the health of students and staff amid ongoing concerns about air quality in the region.
The MPNI is maintaining regular communication with the leadership of educational institutions in Pljevlja to implement additional health protection measures. According to a statement from Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, the Minister of Education, the procurement of air purifiers is already underway. These devices will be installed in classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and other common areas to improve the overall learning environment.
Strategic Measures for Health Protection
The ministry has emphasized that schools will adhere to the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro. This includes closely monitoring the situation and adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure the well-being of all students and employees.
Furthermore, the MPNI has committed to providing ongoing institutional support to educational establishments and maintaining coordinated communication with relevant authorities. The ministry expressed gratitude for the collaborative efforts of schools in addressing this urgent issue, noting their shared commitment to prioritizing the health of children and staff.
The initiative reflects a proactive approach to a significant public health concern, with the intention of ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for students in Pljevlja. With air purifiers being a pivotal part of this strategy, the ministry aims to mitigate the effects of pollution and promote better air quality in schools.
In summary, as the air quality in Pljevlja continues to be a pressing issue, the MPNI’s actions demonstrate a serious commitment to maintaining a healthy educational environment. The new air purifiers are a crucial step in safeguarding the health of the community’s youth and supporting their educational experience.
