Montenegro’s President Milatović to Attend UN Summit in Doha

Montenegro’s President, Jakov Milatović, will participate in the Second World Summit on Social Development from November 4 to 6, 2023, in Doha, Qatar. The invitation comes from the United Nations Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. This summit marks a significant occasion, taking place 30 years after the inaugural event in 1995 in Copenhagen.

The summit will bring together heads of state and government to discuss key issues impacting social development globally. President Milatović is set to address the plenary session and will co-chair a high-level roundtable focused on social inclusion, employment, and sustainable development.
