Osaka’s last competitive appearance occurred on October 16, 2023, at the Japan Open. Unfortunately, she withdrew from the tournament due to an injury. Reflecting on her season, she shared on Instagram, “And that’s a wrap on my year. Great year, everybody. Let’s do it again next year. Maybe a little differently. But yeah, it was fun.
