A new spirometer, valued at over £1,500, has been introduced for use by Community Respiratory Nurses in Ceredigion. This development is made possible through generous donations to Hywel Dda Health Charities, which is the official charity of the Hywel Dda University Health Board. The device, a Vitalograph Alpha 6000 Spirometer, will aid in diagnosing and monitoring lung conditions, including asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Caroline Winkworth, Administrator of the Ceredigion Community Respiratory Team, expressed gratitude for the support received.
