Ceredigion Artists Unite for Charity: Seven Exhibitions Planned

A collective of artists and makers from Ceredigion is set to launch a series of art exhibitions aimed at raising funds for the Angharad Children’s Ward at Bronglais Hospital. The initiative, organized by members of The Bay Gallery in Aberystwyth, will feature seven exhibitions throughout the year, with the first scheduled for March 29, 2024.

The exhibitions will take place in both Cardigan and Aberystwyth, providing ample opportunities for the public to contribute to this worthy cause. According to Jeni Pain, the gallery owner and event organizer, donation collection tins will be available at the gallery and during special events throughout the year.

Each year, the artists select a charity to support, and this year they have chosen the Angharad Children’s Ward, reflecting a commitment to local community services. Pain expressed the significance of this cause, stating, “This ward is close to our artists’ hearts and we want to support this local service.”

The fundraising initiative aims not only to generate essential financial support for the children’s ward but also to engage the community through art.
