Where is Tinder Swindler Simon Leviev? Latest Updates Revealed

The infamous Tinder Swindler, Simon Leviev, continues to capture public attention following the release of the new Netflix docu-series, Love Con Revenge. This series features Cecilie Fjellhøy, one of Leviev’s victims, who aims to help others affected by romance scams. Fjellhøy previously detailed her harrowing experience in the 2022 documentary The Tinder Swindler, where she revealed how Leviev defrauded her, leaving her with a staggering debt of $250,000.
Love Con Revenge showcases Fjellhøy collaborating with private investigator Brianne Joseph to assist victims in reclaiming their lives from the emotional and financial turmoil caused by scams. While Leviev remains a distant figure, questions about his current whereabouts and activities persist.
Where is Simon Leviev Now?
Recent reports indicate that the 34-year-old Leviev, whose real name is Shimon Yehuda Hayut, is currently living in Dubai. Earlier in 2023, he hinted at plans to launch a “next multi-billion dollar venture,” although there has been no further news regarding this project since then. Leviev’s past is marked by a series of fraudulent activities; between 2017 and 2019, he reportedly scammed various women out of approximately $10 million, leading to his widespread notoriety.
Leviev’s legal troubles began in his home country of Israel, where he was charged in 2011 for cashing stolen checks. In 2015, he faced a conviction in Finland for defrauding three women. After an early release from prison, he changed his name and continued his fraudulent activities across Europe, using dating apps like Tinder to find new victims.
In 2019, Leviev was arrested by Interpol in Greece after attempting to use a forged passport. He received a sentence of 15 months in prison in Israel but was released early due to pandemic-related measures, serving only five months.
Continued Controversies and Social Media Presence
Despite the overwhelming evidence against him, Leviev attempted to pivot to a television career, denying any wrongdoing. In a recent update, a video posted by Ahlan Dubai on TikTok showed Leviev emerging from a car in Dubai, suggesting that he is indeed pursuing new business ventures. The accompanying caption noted that he is planning to launch another major initiative soon, although no further details have emerged.
Both his Instagram and TikTok accounts have been set to private, limiting public access to his activities. As interest in his story continues, Love Con Revenge is currently available for streaming on Netflix, shedding light on the ongoing impact of romance scams and the resilience of those affected.
For those curious about Leviev’s past and current endeavors, the narrative serves as a reminder of the far-reaching consequences of fraud and the personal journeys of recovery for victims.
