Air Peace Unveils Monthly Flights from Lagos and Accra to Caribbean

Air Peace, the largest airline in West and Central Africa, has announced the launch of a monthly charter service connecting Lagos and Accra to four Caribbean destinations. Scheduled to commence on December 21, 2025, this service will link cities in Africa to Antigua, Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago, marking a significant development in the airline’s efforts to enhance connectivity between the two regions.
This new route positions Air Peace as the only airline providing direct flights from West and Central Africa to the Caribbean. By creating these direct links, the airline aims to facilitate tourism, trade, and cultural exchange, opening up new opportunities for both regions. The service will operate as a commercial charter, connecting Lagos and Accra to Antigua and Barbados, with onward flights to Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica.
Strengthening Connections Between Continents
The introduction of this service builds on Air Peace’s previous initiatives, including its historic Lagos–Montego Bay charter flight in 2020 and the Abuja–St. Kitts & Nevis service launched in 2025. These efforts reflect the airline’s strategic vision to bridge continents and promote interregional travel. Air Peace’s commitment to connecting Africa with the Caribbean aligns with its broader mission of fostering economic growth and collaboration.
To enhance the travel experience, Air Peace has partnered with several travel agencies, including Tour Brokers International from Nigeria and Sun Seekers Tours and Adansi Travels from Ghana. These partnerships aim to create exclusive tour packages for travelers seeking memorable Africa–Caribbean adventures.
Expanding Air Peace’s Network
Currently, Air Peace operates over 25 domestic routes, 10 regional destinations, and 8 international routes, including major cities such as London, Dubai, Jeddah, Johannesburg, and Mumbai. The addition of these Caribbean routes is a strategic move to solidify Nigeria’s position as a vital aviation hub and promote intercontinental travel.
The airline boasts one of Africa’s most modern fleets, which includes Boeing 777s, Airbus A330s, Boeing 737s, Embraer 195-E2s, Embraer 145s, and Dornier aircraft. All aircraft are maintained to world-class safety and reliability standards, ensuring a safe travel experience for passengers.
Air Peace continues to reaffirm its commitment to providing safe, reliable, and affordable air travel, solidifying its role as a leading force in connecting Africa with the rest of the world. With this new service, the airline not only expands its offerings but also paves the way for enhanced cultural and economic ties between Africa and the Caribbean.
