The final statement from the summit criticized Israel’s declaration that it would pursue Hamas anywhere it chooses. It also included a “categorical rejection” of any attempts to justify the attacks seen in Qatar, which were described as actions that “aim to thwart serious efforts to reach a political solution that ends the occupation.”

Commitment to Palestinian Rights

The summit tasked members of the **Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)** with taking “all possible measures” to support the implementation of arrest warrants issued by the **International Criminal Court (ICC)** against those responsible for crimes against the Palestinian people. During a press conference following the summit, **Hossam Zaki**, Assistant Secretary General of the **Arab League**, emphasized the need to maintain a mediation role to halt the ongoing conflict in Gaza.
