Future Solicitor Secures Prestigious Apprenticeship at Coleg Cambria

A promising future solicitor, Simona Kostova, has secured a highly sought-after solicitor degree apprenticeship, marking a significant milestone in her career. Her success follows a productive period at Coleg Cambria, which has campuses in Wrexham, Deeside, Llysfasi, and Northop. Raised in Buckley and an alumnus of Elfed High School, Kostova attributes her achievement to the robust support she received from her instructors at the college.

Kostova is set to begin her six-year apprenticeship in Manchester, where she will combine academic study with practical experience as a trainee solicitor. Throughout her apprenticeship, she will initially handle administrative tasks, gradually advancing to manage her own cases as she works towards qualification. Her aspirations include specializing in fraud and fraudulent motor claims.

Isabelle King achieved impressive results with an A in Law, an A* in Sociology, and an A in Politics. Another standout student, Alexander McLean, received an A* in Welsh, an A in Politics, a C in History, and a B in the Welsh Baccalaureate. A highlight of his college experience was competing in the Urdd Eisteddfod, where he secured second place in the renowned Medal y Dysgwr competition.
