Montenegrin kickboxer Nemanja Čađenović has advanced to the semifinals and guaranteed a medal at the World Senior Kickboxing Championships in Abu Dhabi. Competing in the 71-kilogram category of the low kick discipline, Čađenović triumphed over Elnur Mustafajev from Azerbaijan with a score of 2:1 in the quarterfinals. This achievement marks his third medal at major competitions.

Čađenović will face Atanas Dimov from Bulgaria in the semifinals scheduled for tomorrow. Earlier in the tournament, he secured a victory against Andreas Garcia from Guatemala, showcasing his skill and determination throughout the matches.

In a challenging quarterfinal bout, fellow competitor Lazar Klikovac was close to reaching the semifinals in the K1 discipline, competing in the 86-kilogram category. Klikovac initially led against the reigning world champion Berko Duzenli but lost momentum in the third round after receiving a penalty point from the judges. This decision, along with a few other contentious scoring calls, ultimately allowed the Turkish fighter to claim victory.

Additionally, Viktor Borozan competed in the low kick discipline, fighting in the 67-kilogram category. After two strong performances, including wins against Adil Omer from Iraq and Dustin Kronk from Canada, Borozan faced a setback in the quarterfinals, where he lost to Vedad Ćutuk from Bosnia and Herzegovina with a score of 3:0.

As the tournament progresses, all eyes will be on Čađenović as he aims for gold and continues to make his mark on the international kickboxing stage.
