Sacramento Shocks Milwaukee, Durant Dominates Boston in NBA Showdown
A thrilling night in the NBA saw several surprising outcomes, including the Sacramento Kings defeating the Milwaukee Bucks 135-133, Kevin Durant leading the Houston Rockets to a decisive win over the Boston Celtics 128-101, and the Indiana Pacers shocking the Golden State Warriors 114-109. This action-packed evening featured six games, with four victories for the visiting teams and only two for the home squads.
Sacramento’s win against Milwaukee was particularly dramatic. Initially, the Bucks built a significant lead, establishing a double-digit advantage. However, the Kings battled back, erasing a 14-point deficit midway through the second quarter. By the end of the third quarter, Sacramento had surged ahead by 10 points and managed to maintain that lead through the final quarter.
In the Bucks’ lineup, Giannis Antetokounmpo stood out with impressive stats, scoring 26 points while adding 11 rebounds and eight assists. Kyle Kuzma contributed 22 points, and both J.J. Green and Gary Trent chipped in with 17 points each. The Mavericks, missing Anthony Davis due to injury, had D’Angelo Russell score 31 points and Cooper Flagg contributing 16 points.
In Washington, the Orlando Magic delivered a resounding 125-94 victory over the Wizards, who are still searching for their first home win this season. Paolo Banchero was the standout performer for the Magic, scoring 28 points and recording 11 assists. Wendell Carter added 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Franz Wagner contributed 25 points. The Wizards struggled, with Keisean George scoring 17 points and C.J. McCollum adding 13 points.
Lastly, the Minnesota Timberwolves triumphed over the Charlotte Hornets 122-105. Missing key players like Anthony Edwards and Brandon Miller, the Timberwolves secured a comfortable win. Julius Randle led the way for Minnesota with 30 points and seven rebounds, while Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid each contributed 18 points. For Charlotte, Myles Bridges provided 30 points and eight rebounds alongside LaMelo Ball, who added 18 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists.
