Police Seize Firearms in Danilovgrad Anti-Violence Operation

Police in Danilovgrad have seized a firearm, an air gun, and an underwater gun during an operation aimed at combating violence and illegal possession of weapons. The action took place following a court order issued by the Basic Court in Danilovgrad.

Officers carried out a search of the apartment and other premises used by a 22-year-old man, identified as J.K., who resides in Danilovgrad. The operation occurred in the locality of Podglavice and was part of a broader initiative to enhance public safety and reduce gun violence in the region.

During the search, police discovered a CZ-83 pistol with a caliber of 7.65 mm, along with a significant air gun and an underwater gun equipped with a harpoon. The authorities are taking these findings seriously, as illegal firearms can pose a substantial threat to community safety.

The Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has been informed about the incident. The prosecutor will assess the situation and determine the legal classification of the actions taken by J.K. after reviewing the complete case files and any additional measures required.
