The music duo known as Villanelle has unveiled its latest project, an EP titled “5+1”, which combines retro influences with modern electropop sounds. The collaboration features producer and musician Nemanja Bečanović and journalist and writer Željko Milović. With five original tracks and a bonus addition, the duo aims to create a cohesive body of work that resonates with audiences.

The name Villanelle alludes to a character derived from the life of Idoja Lopez Rianjo, a former member of the Basque separatist group ETA, whose notorious past has become the subject of various adaptations, including the acclaimed series Killing Eve.
