Veteran actor Mark Ruffalo took a prominent stance during the event, publicly sharing the personal significance of his pin. In an interview with USA Today, Ruffalo stated, “This is for Renee Nicole Good, who was murdered.” He then shifted his focus to a broader critique of the current administration. “We have a vice president who’s lying about what’s happening. We’re in the middle of a war with Venezuela that we illegally invaded,” he said. Ruffalo emphasized his belief that Trump’s disregard for international law puts the country in jeopardy, calling the president a “convicted felon” and “the worst human being.”

Ruffalo did not hold back, labeling Trump a “paedophile” and warning of the dangers of relying on his moral compass to guide the United States. He concluded by expressing his love for the country, stating, “What I am seeing is not America,” highlighting his concern that the administration has strayed from core American values.
