Alison Hammond to Host Bridgerton Podcast as Series Returns
Alison Hammond, a well-known presenter on ITV’s This Morning, has secured a new role as the host of Netflix’s Bridgerton: The Official Podcast. This exciting opportunity comes as the popular period drama prepares to launch its fourth season, which premieres on January 29, 2024. Hammond, who also co-hosts The Great British Bake Off, will guide listeners through the intricacies of the series over six episodes, engaging with the cast and crew.
Fans of the series can look forward to interviews with the new romantic leads, Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha. Thompson reprises his role as Benedict Bridgerton, who will navigate a relationship with Ha’s character, the enigmatic Lady in Silver, also known as Sophie Baek. While further guest appearances remain undisclosed, listeners can expect Hammond to delve into the latest romantic entanglements and other captivating developments within the world of Bridgerton.
The podcast will be available on Netflix in the United States, ensuring easy access for fans eager to explore the series alongside its latest episodes. For audiences outside the United States, the podcast can be found on YouTube, allowing global fans to engage with the content. The first episode will debut on January 29, coinciding with the release of part one of the fourth season. Following this, two additional episodes will be released weekly, with the second part of the season launching on February 26, 2024.

A live-streamed premiere event will take place in Paris on January 14, 2024, in addition to fan events across over 20 countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Brazil, and Spain. Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the growing global interest in Bridgerton, stating, “Bridgerton continues to ignite a passionate global fandom, uniting audiences around a once-underserved genre and proving that romantic stories are truly universal.” She noted that the anticipation for the fourth season is at an all-time high, with plans to deepen fan engagement through unique collaborations and events.
As the series prepares for its return, the combination of the podcast and the various fan initiatives promises to enrich the viewing experience, solidifying Bridgerton’s place in contemporary pop culture.
