Vukovi Zeta Basketball Team Mandated to Join Protest Against Collector

The president of the KK Vukovi Zeta basketball club, Srđan Radonjić, has announced that all players and coaching staff are required to participate in a protest against the construction of a collector. The demonstration is scheduled for Friday, January 23, 2026, in front of the Main City building in Podgorica.

Radonjić shared this directive through a message that was broadcast during the program “Načisto” on TV Vijesti. He emphasized the importance of this gathering, stating that it is based on conclusions expected to be reached during a session of the Zeta Municipality Assembly. As the Municipality of Zeta is the complete owner of KK Vukovi Zeta, attendance is not optional.

The purpose of the protest is to formally present the club’s and municipality’s conclusions to the Mayor of Podgorica, Saša Mujović. Radonjić noted that failure to attend the protest will be considered unjustified.

In addition to their presence, all players and management members are instructed to wear the official tracksuits of KK Zeta. This requirement underscores the club’s commitment to solidarity and unity in their stance against the proposed construction project.
