Border Police Seize Audi Linked to Interpol Investigation

Officials from the Regional Border Police Center “Centar” have seized an Audi A8 linked to an investigation by Interpol. The vehicle was stopped at the Božaj border crossing while being driven by a 46-year-old Italian citizen, identified as I.G.

During routine operations aimed at combating cross-border crime, police officers checked the vehicle’s registration details. According to a statement from the Police Administration, records revealed that the Audi A8 is sought by the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Belgium.

The vehicle was temporarily confiscated and handed over to the Security Department in Podgorica for further processing. This incident highlights the ongoing efforts by law enforcement agencies to address various forms of cross-border criminal activities.

The Border Police Center continues to bolster its operations, ensuring that vehicles and individuals linked to international criminal investigations are identified and managed appropriately.
