Authorities Seize Vehicles and Weapons in Organized Crime Raids

Law enforcement officials from the Regional Security Center “North” conducted a series of coordinated raids early this morning targeting individuals linked to organized crime in the regions of Bijelo Polje, Berane, and Rožaje. The operation aimed to address ongoing concerns regarding organized criminal groups and involved multiple units of the police force.

According to reports, officers executed searches at nine different locations associated with prominent figures in organized crime, including Denis Durutović, Grga Milićević, Boban Golubović, and Radovan Šekularac. During the operations, authorities temporarily seized seven passenger vehicles, a gas-operated pistol, and a protective vest.

In Bijelo Polje, police collaborated with Special Police Units and the Crime Fighting Sector to search the residence of a 56-year-old individual identified only as D.D., a known member of an organized crime group. Authorities confiscated a Volkswagen Golf 7, an Ekol gas pistol without documentation, and a protective vest from the premises. Additionally, a violation notice was issued against A.Č., a family member of D.D., for breaching the Weapons Law.

Further searches in Berane targeted several residences linked to individuals of interest in organized crime. Police confiscated vehicles from various individuals, including an Audi Q8, an Audi A7, and a Mercedes E-Class from an individual identified as R.Š., aged 41, pending further investigation. Another vehicle, a Volvo V60, was seized from B.G., aged 34, while a Passat CC was taken from G.M., aged 58.

In Rožaje, authorities conducted a search of the residence used by a 55-year-old individual known as E.D. During this search, police seized a Mercedes C-Class AMG as part of the ongoing investigation.

The operation reflects a significant commitment by law enforcement to dismantle organized crime networks and enhance public safety in the affected regions. As investigations continue, police urge anyone with further information to come forward.
