With an impressive engagement rate of 24.77% among his 139,600 followers, Boyle’s content resonates deeply with viewers. His TikTok bio reflects his commitment to his roots, stating: “Scottish actor and writer from the Isle of Lewis. Follow me, I know the way.” The ranking by Spey, part of the Muckle Media Group, underscores the importance of influencers in promoting cultural narratives.
Top Influencers in Scotland
In the list of the top ten most influential Scots on TikTok, lifestyle content creator Eddie Fade Walker follows Boyle in second place, boasting an engagement rate of 19.47% with 241,000 followers. Zara McIntosh, known for her fashion and lifestyle content, secured third place with an engagement rate of 16.24% across 130,500 followers. Other notable figures in the top five include singer-songwriter Calum Bowie and cosplayer Millie Graham. Last year’s winner, author and tour guide Bryan Millar Walker, ranked eighth this year.

Boyle’s most viewed video has amassed over 3.3 million views and 269,000 likes. In this clip, he discusses the Fachan, a grotesque creature from Scottish folklore, showcasing his ability to engage audiences with intriguing narratives.
