A devastating report has revealed that a girl, known as Marie, died after enduring years of sexual abuse by her foster carer. Her fate was sealed when she was placed with a paedophile.” The carer emphasized that Marie had not only endured years of abuse but had also been deprived of the basic acknowledgment and support she deserved during her most difficult times.

Despite her courage in testifying against her abuser, Marie faced a lack of support from the council even after winning her lawsuit. “She waited for an apology from the council to know that those in power were sorry for destroying her life,” the carer lamented. “But no one came.”
