Candace Owens has made new allegations regarding the assassination of political commentator Charlie Kirk, claiming that individuals linked to the event traveled to Utah prior to the attack. In a post on X on November 27, 2025, Owens stated that these individuals stayed at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Orem, near Provo, between September 4 and September 13. Though she faces a significant defamation lawsuit, Owens continues to press on with her assertions about foreign involvement in Kirk’s death.

Owens described this information as a “MAJOR BREAK,” citing a source involved in the hotel booking process who allegedly confirmed the presence of these individuals. According to her, their travel to Utah occurred just days before Kirk’s assassination. The claims have ignited public debate and renewed scrutiny of the circumstances surrounding Kirk’s death.

In her post, Owens urged Utah residents to review any footage from the vicinity of the hotel during that period. She encouraged local business owners and hotel workers to share any unusual observations or recordings. “Local residents might hold crucial evidence,” she stated, inviting the public to send any videos or images to a specified email address for further investigation.

Responses to her claims have been mixed. While some users have expressed support for her pursuit of public assistance, others have raised questions about the credibility of her sources. They queried how hotel staff could identify the guests’ roles and why operatives would use regular booking systems for their stay.

Owens’s pursuit of these claims comes at a time when she is embroiled in a defamation lawsuit filed by French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron. This lawsuit stems from Owens propagating a conspiracy theory suggesting that Brigitte Macron “is a man,” a claim that gained traction before spreading widely online.

Owens has also intensified her public feud with the Macrons. On November 22, she claimed that the Macrons funded a planned attack against her and suggested that a small unit within the National Gendarmerie Intervention Group (GIGN) was involved. The GIGN has publicly denied these allegations, emphasizing that their operations focus on counter-terrorism and rescue missions, not assassinations.

Further complicating matters, Owens has linked Robinson to the French Foreign Legion, a claim that has been refuted by France’s Ministry of Armed Forces. They clarified that Robinson had no association with the Legion, stating that his training in California concluded on August 25, 2025.

Additionally, Owens has alleged that payments related to these activities were funneled through the Club des Cent in France, yet she has provided no evidence to substantiate this assertion. The ongoing dispute and her promotion of controversial theories have drawn attention to her shifting narrative, distancing her from segments of the conspiracy theory community.
