Krapović Accuses Mijajlović’s Team of Discrediting Democrats

Dragan Krapović, the Deputy President of the Democratic Party of Montenegro, has made serious allegations against Aca Mijajlović, claiming that his team was tasked with discrediting party officials. Krapović argues that recent protests in Podgorica, which Mijajlović participated in, do not represent genuine public dissent but rather a strategic move orchestrated by Mijajlović and his associates.
Krapović stated that over the past several months, they had consistently warned that certain violent incidents were occurring under suspicious social and political circumstances. He emphasized that these events took place during critical times when the nation required unity and stability.
Allegations of Chaos and Distrust
Krapović accused Mijajlović’s team of deliberately creating an atmosphere of chaos and mistrust. According to him, their goal was to divide the population along religious and national lines, incite hatred, and weaken the institutions that were beginning to confront organized crime for the first time in decades.
“The mission was clear: to halt reform processes, combat against crime, and seize control of the state for the benefit of criminal organizations through discrediting, deception, and the destruction of everything that represented the fight for justice,” Krapović asserted.
He also claimed that the truth is now emerging, stating, “We can see that all the lies and fabrications directed at the Democrats were not coincidental but were crafted in dark rooms and then disseminated through media outlets that Mijajlović could influence.”
The Fight for Truth and Justice
Krapović’s statements come at a time of heightened political tension in Montenegro. He remarked on how various harmful actions and narratives had been validated, referencing concerns raised both before and after the year 2020.
He concluded with a powerful message: “Today, the truth is stronger than any lie, the state is more robust than any conspiracy, and the people are stronger than any attempt by organized crime to shape the fate of Montenegro.”
As the situation continues to develop, the implications of these allegations could significantly impact the political landscape in Montenegro, highlighting ongoing struggles between reformist efforts and entrenched interests.
