Fairport’s Cropredy Convention Announces 2026 Festival Dates

The highly anticipated Cropredy Convention, hosted by Fairport Convention, will return in 2026 after a sold-out event this summer. Scheduled for August 13-15, 2026, the festival promises an exciting lineup of both established and emerging talent in the folk and rock genres. Tickets for this three-day celebration are now on sale and are expected to sell quickly due to a reduced capacity implemented in 2025.

As the festival transforms the picturesque village of Cropredy into a hub for music enthusiasts, attendees can look forward to performances from legendary acts. Among the headliners are the pioneering band Soft Machine from Canterbury, acclaimed singer-songwriter Richard Thompson, accompanied by vocalist Zara Phillips and esteemed former bandmates Simon Nicol, Dave Mattacks, and Dave Pegg.

Alongside these rock icons, the festival will feature contemporary folk artists such as Danny & The Champions of the World, Breabach, and Le Vent Du Nord. The lineup also highlights the next generation of talent, including The HAAR, Danny Bradley, Will Pound, and Jenn Butterworth.

The return of fan favorites adds to the excitement, with Hayseed Dixie bringing their energetic rockgrass performances back to Cropredy after an extended absence. Additionally, the theatrical group The Spooky Men’s Chorale aims to replicate the success of their previous appearance, showcasing their unique blend of poignant ballads and humorous covers.
