Celebrate Paul Sartori Foundation’s Impact at Pembrokeshire Event

The event, set to commence at 6:00 PM with registration beginning at 5:30 PM, aims to celebrate the charity’s accomplishments in providing vital hospice-at-home services to residents of Pembrokeshire.

This meeting will feature insights from the Board of Trustees and Laura Hugman, the Clinical Team Manager, who will discuss the foundation’s ongoing efforts to support individuals in the final stages of life. Attendees, including voting members, supporters, staff, volunteers, and the general public, will have the opportunity to learn about the range of free services offered by the charity.

Founded in memory of Father Paul Sartori, a parish priest who recognized the need for hospice care in the region, the Paul Sartori Foundation has been a cornerstone of community support for over four decades. The organization provides various services, including hands-on nursing care, rapid-response equipment loan, physiotherapy, complementary therapies, future care planning, and bereavement counselling. These efforts enable patients to remain in the comfort of their homes, surrounded by loved ones while receiving compassionate care.

All services are offered free of charge, available 24 hours a day, throughout the year. This remarkable achievement is sustained by the generosity of the local community, which contributes through donations, shopping at charity outlets, and the assistance of approximately 300 dedicated volunteers alongside a committed team of staff.
