Capital City Opens Funding Call for Cultural Projects in 2026
The Secretariat for Culture of the Main City has announced a competition to provide funding for cultural projects for the year 2026. This initiative aims to support a wide range of artistic fields, including visual arts, literature, music, cultural magazines, theater activities, and cultural heritage.
In addition to these areas, the competition also encompasses cultural and artistic events, festivals, and audio-visual activities. This includes short and feature films, both documentary and animated, as well as student films and other audio-visual formats that explore themes of significance to the capital city’s culture and the public interest.
Applications for funding will remain open until December 29, 2023. Individuals residing in Podgorica and legal entities registered in the city, specifically those engaged in cultural activities, are eligible to apply. Prospective applicants must submit their entries using the designated form, which is available on the Main City’s website in the announcements section.
The initiative reflects a commitment to fostering cultural expression and supporting a vibrant artistic community within Podgorica. By encouraging diverse projects, the city aims to enhance its cultural landscape and promote public engagement with the arts.
