Young Woman Loses Eye in Dog Walk Accident, Urges Safety

After a difficult healing period, she returned to the clinic in February 2024 to have a prosthetic eye fitted. “I couldn’t believe how realistic it looked,” she noted, though it took time for her to adjust to her new appearance. Daniella expressed insecurity initially, but the support from family and friends helped her regain confidence.

Nearly a year after the accident, Daniella found the courage to take Blu for a walk again, opting for a standard rope lead this time. “It was very emotional,” she said, recognizing her progress and ability to reclaim a sense of normalcy.
