Residents should also note that collections for the rest of the week will follow this pattern, with services moving forward by one day. For instance, collections on Wednesday will be rescheduled to Thursday, and so forth, culminating with the usual Friday collection occurring on Saturday, December 30.
New Year Collection Schedule
As the New Year approaches, the council has outlined further changes. Bin collections scheduled for Monday, January 1, 2024, will be pushed to Tuesday, January 2 as part of the holiday adjustments. The remaining collections for that week will also follow a similar one-day shift.
Alongside the changes in waste collection, the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council has also provided information regarding the opening hours of its facilities during the holiday season. This aims to help residents plan their visits accordingly.
