Stacey Solomon Left Speechless by Joe Swash’s Tattoo Surprise

Stacey Solomon was taken aback when her husband, Joe Swash, revealed a surprise gesture that did not go as planned. In this episode, Stacey and Joe exchanged their typical school runs for an adventurous skiing holiday in Switzerland. While preparing for their trip, Joe decided to create a surprise for Stacey in celebration of Valentine’s Day. He left home to visit his brother-in-law, Aaron, a tattoo artist, with the intention of getting a meaningful tattoo.

Joe explained, “[Stacey] came back a couple of months ago and surprised me with a little tattoo of my initials underneath her wedding ring, and I loved it. It really meant a lot to me.” Inspired by this, he chose to get a heart with an “S” in the middle, symbolizing his love for Stacey. Upon returning home, he excitedly displayed his new tattoo to Stacey’s eldest sons, Zach and Leighton.

The reaction was immediate, with Leighton humorously pointing out that the tattoo looked more like a “splatter” than a heart. When the family later gathered during their holiday, Joe revealed his tattoo to Stacey. Her reaction was unexpected; she burst into laughter, pointing out that the design resembled a male anatomy part. “Is it a d***? Why did you draw a p**** and ask someone to tattoo it on your finger?” she exclaimed, unable to contain her amusement.

Joe acknowledged the misstep, saying, “I obviously didn’t think it was a p**** until he done it. And by that time, it was far too late. What am I going to do?” He reflected on the situation, admitting, “I’ve started to worry about it slightly… Hindsight’s a great thing, and what I really should have done is just take Aaron’s advice. He’s a great tattoo artist, he does amazing stuff, but as usual, I like to take control of these situations.”
