Curtis Pritchard Joins Love Island All Stars as Surprise Cast Member
Curtis Pritchard, brother of Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Pritchard, has been confirmed as a surprise addition to the cast of the upcoming season of Love Island All Stars. As anticipation builds for the show’s premiere, Curtis has been spotted in South Africa, where filming is set to take place. The launch of this highly anticipated spin-off has faced delays, but details about Curtis’s return are now emerging.
Curtis, aged 29, gained fame during his original stint on Love Island in 2019, where viewers witnessed his connections with contestants Amy Hart and Maura Higgins. He has since participated in the Irish version of the show and made a notable appearance in last year’s All Stars edition, finishing in a respectable third place alongside Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. The couple, however, announced their breakup in May 2023, adding an element of drama that may engage fans in the new season.
A source informed Mail Online that Curtis is positioned as a “bombshell” for the upcoming series, having arrived in South Africa undetected prior to the show’s official launch. The producers are reportedly keeping details of his entrance discreet, understanding that his return is bound to provoke excitement among the audience. Observant fans may have already caught a hint during the show’s promotional launch, with a napkin referencing Curtis’s well-known phrase about coffee.
The premiere of Love Island All Stars was originally slated for January 12, 2024, but has been postponed due to wildfires in the surrounding areas. An official statement from the production team reassured fans that everyone is safe and working diligently to deliver an exceptional series. “We are committed to bringing you an iconic series, so keep an eye on our socials for updates,” the announcement stated.
This season will feature a dozen former contestants returning to the villa, including popular figures such as Millie Court, Shaq Muhammad, and Whitney Adebayo. Additionally, last year’s entrants Helena Ford and Tommy Bradley are also expected to make a return.
As the reality television landscape continues to evolve, the intrigue surrounding Love Island All Stars only intensifies. Fans are eagerly awaiting the new launch date and the opportunity to see how returning contestants navigate their second chances at love. The series will air on ITV2 and stream on ITVX soon, promising to deliver engaging content that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.
