Belle Hassan, a well-known contestant from the reality show Love Island, has hinted at potential drama as the eagerly anticipated All Stars edition approaches. In an interview with Daily Star, she expressed her desire to avoid a particular contestant, stating, “I don’t want to see her in there,” though she refrained from revealing the identity of this mystery rival.

While some contestants may spark tension, Hassan shared her excitement about reconnecting with former islanders like Anna Vakili and Jess Harding. She praised Vakili, saying, “I’d love to see Anna in, I love her. We got on so well. I still see her now. She’s so stunning as well.” Reflecting on her bond with Harding, she added, “I love her. She’s amazing. So she’d be a good one to see. We get on really well.”

Hassan also addressed the contestant she would prefer to avoid, mentioning a particular girl but opting not to disclose her name. “There is definitely a girl I wouldn’t want to see, but I won’t disclose her name, just the one,” she said. Interestingly, she speculated that this rival might not even appear, as she believes the girl “has a boyfriend.”

The conversation took a personal turn when Hassan discussed her father, renowned actor Tamer Hassan, and the guidance he offers about navigating the challenges of the villa. “He’s so supportive. He’s like, ‘Go have fun. Not too much fun, but fun.’ I love that me and my dad are best friends, so I’m always open,” she remarked.

In a light-hearted moment, she recounted their conversation regarding the kissing scenes integral to the show. “I said to him, ‘Dad, I have to do the kissing scenes, it’s part of the show — I’m trying to meet a husband.’ He said, ‘I don’t know if I can watch,’ but I had to forget he was watching, or I’d die of shame.” Despite his tough-guy persona, Hassan insists her father has a softer side. “Everyone thinks we’re hard on the outside, but we’re softies,” she explained, noting that boys may feel intimidated at first but warm up once they meet him.

Hassan also mentioned that her father particularly enjoyed the villa’s Heart Rate Challenge during her previous season. “That was my dad’s favourite episode last time. He was so proud. The producers even told him, ‘You might want to skip tonight,’” she said, adding that he expressed pride in her appearance during the challenge: “You’re so tall. That’s my girl.”

As for love triangles, Hassan emphasized that her feelings depend on the context. “If I’m at the top of the triangle with two men, I’m all for it. If it’s two girls, I don’t know, as I’d never want to hurt her feelings. It also depends on how much I like him… and how sexy he is,” she noted.

The launch of Love Island All Stars was initially scheduled for January 12, 2024, at 21:00 on ITV. However, production has been postponed due to wildfires impacting filming locations. Hassan’s remarks have already generated excitement among fans, who are eager to see which familiar faces and potential rivals will grace the villa when the show eventually returns.
