Kutcher stated, “I think every role you get depends in part on how you look. That’s a big part of what you bring to the character. There have been roles I received because of my appearance, but also those I lost for the same reason. That can be frustrating.” He emphasized that he now has a better understanding of the decisions made during the casting process.

In discussing his upcoming series, The Beauty, which is set to debut on Hulu in 2026, Kutcher described it as one of the most challenging projects of his career. “Characters reflect what we are or are not at certain moments. This gives us the opportunity to showcase what we often hide: insecurities, weaknesses, and personal struggles,” he explained.
