Ace Frehley on Life Support Following Brain Bleed from Fall

Former Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley is currently on life support in a hospital after suffering a brain bleed. Reports from TMZ indicate that Frehley, aged 74, experienced the brain bleed due to a fall in late September while working on his upcoming album, Origins Vol. 4. Medical sources suggest that the musician is on a ventilator, and his condition has not shown signs of improvement.

Frehley’s health issues began on September 26, 2023, when he fell at his studio. At that time, his team reassured fans by stating, “Ace had a minor fall in his studio, resulting in a trip to the hospital. He is fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time.” Due to these medical concerns, he had to cancel his scheduled performance at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California.

Despite the initial optimism, the situation has deteriorated. Earlier this month, Frehley’s social media team announced the cancellation of the remainder of his 2025 tour dates due to ongoing medical issues. The statement noted, “Due to some ongoing medical issues, Ace has made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of his 2025 dates.” This cancellation included several performances intended to promote his most recent solo album, 10,000 Volts.

While most of the tour dates have been canceled, one performance remains on the schedule. Frehley is still set to perform at the Aamava Resort & Casino in Highland, California, in February 2024. Fans and fellow musicians alike are expressing their support during this challenging time.
