Veteran BBC Journalist John Simpson Reflects on His Career and Home

John Simpson, a distinguished journalist with the BBC since 1966, recently shared reflections on his remarkable career and personal life. At 80 years old, he continues to serve as the BBC’s world affairs editor and hosts the program Unspun World with John Simpson on BBC2. His contributions to journalism have earned him an Emmy Award, three BAFTA Awards, and recognition as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his coverage during the Gulf War.
