Nintendo fans may soon receive exciting news as speculation mounts about an upcoming Nintendo Direct presentation. According to reputable leaker Nate the Hate, a Direct is expected to be scheduled for later this month, following the recent launch of the Nintendo Switch 2.
In a recent podcast available on YouTube, Nate the Hate informed listeners that the next Nintendo Direct is likely to occur after the release of Donkey Kong Bananza>, which will debut on July 17, 2025. Although the precise date for the Direct remains unconfirmed, Nate predicted it would likely take place during the week beginning July 28. This timing is strategic, as it precedes Nintendo’s earnings call on August 1.
As anticipation builds, fans are eager to learn about the new games set to be featured during the Direct. Notably, Nintendo has a couple of significant cross-platform titles scheduled for release in 2025. Among these is Pokemon Legends Z-A, alongside the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The latter has generated considerable buzz, especially since Nintendo has yet to officially announce a release date.
Current speculation suggests that Metroid Prime 4 could launch in either September or November of this year. This game is being developed for both the Nintendo Switch and the new Switch 2, with the latter expected to include enhancements such as faster frame rates, improved visuals, and compatibility with the console’s mouse controller.
Players will embark on an adventure across Planet Viewros, where they will engage in battles against a rival bounty hunter named Sylux. Samus, the protagonist, will also gain access to a range of new psychic abilities, enhancing gameplay and combat experiences against this formidable adversary.
As the gaming community awaits further details, Nate the Hate has promised to keep fans updated as more information about the Nintendo Direct and its contents becomes available. The excitement surrounding these upcoming announcements underscores the strong interest in Nintendo’s evolving game offerings and its potential impact on the gaming landscape.
