Authorities Charge Three with Forging Documents for Subsidy

Authorities in Bijelo Polje have initiated legal proceedings against three individuals for allegedly falsifying documents to secure financial subsidies. The Regional Centre for Security “North” has filed criminal charges against one legal entity, identified as S.B.D. d.o.o., along with two individuals, D.K. and B.M..

The investigation revealed that the accused allegedly forged tax and contribution certificates for the company S.B.D. d.o.o.. These documents were purportedly used in an application for subsidies intended for individuals with disabilities from the Employment Agency of Montenegro, specifically the Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of People with Disabilities.

The police emphasized their commitment to combating economic crime, stating, “The suppression of economic crime, as well as all other forms of criminal activity, will continue to be a focus for the officers of the Regional Centre for Security ‘North,’ aimed at creating a safer environment for our citizens.”

This case highlights ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address fraudulent activities that undermine public trust and divert essential resources meant for vulnerable populations.
