Lumera Appoints Susanne Lindqvist as New CFO to Enhance Management
Lumera, a prominent player in the insurtech sector, has appointed Susanne Lindqvist as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This strategic move aims to enhance the company’s financial leadership as it navigates the complexities of being a publicly listed entity. Lindqvist’s extensive background in finance positions her well to support Lumera’s ongoing digital transformation initiatives within the European Life and Pensions sector.
With a wealth of experience in senior financial roles, Lindqvist’s most recent position was as CEO of 7A Sevena, a firm specializing in coworking and conference facilities. Prior to that, she served as CFO at Transcendent Group, where she was instrumental in guiding the organization through its public listing process. Her track record in financial management and operational strategy will be invaluable as Lumera continues to evolve in a competitive market.
Jonas Alfredson, CEO of Lumera Group, expressed enthusiasm about Lindqvist’s appointment, stating, “We are thoroughly pleased to have recruited Susanne. She will be a key contributor as we adjust to performing as a listed company in terms of accounting and financial reporting.” This sentiment underscores the importance of strong financial oversight as Lumera positions itself for future growth.
In a related transition, former CFO Therese Hennerberg will take on a new role as Head of Group Finance. This change reflects Lumera’s commitment to maintaining robust financial governance while adapting to its expanding operational scope.
Lindqvist holds a Master of Business Administration from Stockholm University and boasts several years of consultancy and accountancy experience with EY, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services. Additionally, she currently serves on the Board of Directors at Bitio, an IT consultancy, further highlighting her diverse expertise in the financial and technological landscapes.
As Lumera continues to strengthen its position in the insurtech market, the addition of Lindqvist to the executive team is expected to play a crucial role in steering the company towards sustainable growth and enhanced operational efficiency.
