2026 Grammy Awards Nominees Announced: Sleep Token, YUNGBLUD, Turnstile Shine
The nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards were unveiled on November 7, showcasing a diverse lineup of artists, including Sleep Token, YUNGBLUD, and Turnstile. The awards ceremony will take place on February 1, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount Plus.
In the rock categories, competition is fierce for the Best Rock Album award. This category features five notable contenders: Deftones with “Private Music,” Haim for “I Quit,” Linkin Park with “From Zero,” Turnstile for “Never Enough,” and YUNGBLUD with “Idols.”
YUNGBLUD and Turnstile also secured nominations in the Best Rock Song category. YUNGBLUD’s “Zombie” and Turnstile’s “Never Enough” will compete against Sleep Token for “Caramel,” as well as Hayley Williams‘ “Glum” and Nine Inch Nails‘ “As Alive As You Need Me To Be.”
The nominees for Best Rock Song include:
– “As Alive as You Need Me to Be” – Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross, songwriters (Nine Inch Nails)
– “Caramel” – Vessel1 & Vessel2, songwriters (Sleep Token)
– “Glum” – Daniel James & Hayley Williams, songwriters (Hayley Williams)
– “Never Enough” – Daniel Fang, Franz Lyons, Pat McCrory, Meg Mills & Brendan Yates, songwriters (Turnstile)
– “Zombie” – Dominic Harrison & Matt Schwartz, songwriters (YUNGBLUD)
In addition to these nominations, Linkin Park, Turnstile, Hayley Williams, and YUNGBLUD (featuring Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello, Adam Wakeman, II) are also in the running for Best Rock Performance. They will face off against Amyl and The Sniffers with their track “U Should Not Be Doing That.”

In the Best Metal Performance category, Sleep Token received recognition for their song “Emergence.” Other nominees include Turnstile, Spiritbox, Ghost, and Dream Theater. The nominees for this category are:
– “Night Terror” — Dream Theater
– “Lachryma” — Ghost
– “Emergence” — Sleep Token
– “Soft Spine” — Spiritbox
– “Birds” — Turnstile
Lastly, the Best Alternative Music Performance category features Turnstile and Hayley Williams competing against Bon Iver, The Cure, and Wet Leg.
