UK’s Top Indian Restaurants Unveiled: Discover Award Winners

The results of the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2025 have been announced, spotlighting the finest Indian dining establishments across the United Kingdom. The prestigious ceremony took place on October 6, 2025, at the Hilton, Park Lane in London, where a total of 75 restaurants were honoured for their exceptional contributions to the culinary landscape.

Leading the accolades was the Nu Delhi Restaurant Lounge in Belfast, which earned the title of Champion of Champions. The restaurant is celebrated for its high-quality Indian cuisine, including classic dishes like Masala, as well as unique offerings that have never before been seen in Northern Ireland. It has received outstanding ratings, boasting a score of 4.8/5 on Tripadvisor and 4.5/5 on Google.

Patrons have shared their enthusiasm for Nu Delhi, with one Tripadvisor user, known as macdaddy1010, declaring it the “best Indian in Ireland and UK, hands down.” Another reviewer, Kelly B, emphatically stated, “Every aspect of our meal was perfect!” Additionally, Jack T praised the restaurant for its “unreal” food and friendly service, highlighting its great vegetarian options and affordable pricing for high-quality dishes.

Following Nu Delhi in recognition were several other establishments. RISHI’S at the Slate & Grain Brasserie and Bar, located in Hackbridge, Wallington, secured the National Chef of the Year award. Meanwhile, Kaani Kaana in Chelmsford was named the National Takeaway of the Year.
