Congressman Claims Aliens Hide in Underwater Bases Off Bahamas

A prominent US politician has asserted that extraterrestrial beings may be residing in “five or six” underwater bases located off the coast of the Bahamas. Congressman Tim Burchett, a member of the House Oversight Committee which investigates reports of unidentified flying objects, expressed his belief that advanced alien entities are living in largely unexplored deep-sea areas on Earth.
Burchett pointed to multiple sightings of unidentified crafts in specific deep-water regions near the US, suggesting that these entities could have been present in our oceans for generations. He emphasized the vast unknowns of the ocean, stating, “We know more about the Moon than we do about our oceans,” highlighting the potential for unknown life forms to exist beneath the waves.
The congressman referenced reports from US Navy personnel who have claimed to chase underwater crafts that exhibit extraordinary speeds, far exceeding the capabilities of current military technology. In a recent video shared on social media platform X, Burchett noted, “We have naval personnel telling me we have these sightings, these underwater craft they’re chasing that go hundreds of miles an hour, and the best we got is something that does maybe a little under forty miles an hour.”
Burchett has long suggested that the US government is concealing information about extraterrestrial life. In an interview with Newsweek in 2023, he alleged that authorities had recovered a UFO craft, also referred to as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and possibly even “beings.” He claimed that US officials have attempted to reverse-engineer these crafts to gain insight into advanced alien technologies, while also suggesting that the government has historically been reticent to disclose details about UFO recoveries.
Turning to the scientific community, Dr. Michael Salla, an author and researcher specializing in extraterrestrial phenomena, commented on Burchett’s claims. He suggested that the most likely location for underwater alien bases is a specific area of the Atlantic Ocean near the Bahamas. Dr. Salla stated he has spoken with credible whistleblowers, including high-ranking military and government officials, who confirmed the existence of these bases and advanced crafts.
Dr. Salla also referenced a top-secret US Navy facility known as AUTEC, or the Atlantic Undersea Testing and Evaluation Center, located in the same region. He described this area as suitable for submarine activity, noting that it features depths of around 3,000 feet, which are conducive for the concealment of underwater crafts. He explained, “This is a place where people have seen many UFOs, many underwater craft coming into and leaving the water.”
In November 2022, Congress received eyewitness accounts regarding mysterious crafts reportedly emerging from or submerging into the water. Investigator Michael Shellenberger claimed to have a source who had seen footage of an orb emerging from the ocean and being met by another orb. During the congressional hearing, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert inquired about whether any technological capabilities observed in these oceanic UAPs defied current understandings of physics or human engineering. Shellenberger responded affirmatively, suggesting that such capabilities were indeed present.
He further disclosed that the Pentagon had operated a covert program named Immaculate Constellation, which focused on the retrieval and reverse-engineering of UFOs. Shellenberger stated that current and former government officials had indicated the existence of “maybe thousands” of pieces of evidence regarding UAPs, ranging from high-resolution photos to advanced sensor data.
In a related anecdote, former professor Bob McGwire recounted a close encounter he had while serving on the USS Hampton, a US Navy fast attack submarine. He described hearing an unidentified object traveling faster than the speed of sound through water. McGwire, who has worked with the Institute for Defense Analyses and Virginia Tech, emphasized that no manmade craft could achieve such speeds. He kept the details of this encounter classified for over 30 years due to the sensitive nature of his work before eventually speaking out as interest in military UFO encounters surged.
His testimony aligns with a recent incident that occurred in 2019, when US Naval personnel aboard the combat ship USS Omaha observed and recorded a close encounter with an orb-shaped UFO off the coast of San Diego. In the footage, crew members could be heard exclaiming in surprise as the orb splashed into the ocean after a controlled flight.
The Pentagon has formally denied Shellenberger’s allegations regarding the secretive nature of UFO retrieval programs. Public reaction to these revelations has been mixed, with some expressing skepticism while others are intrigued by the possibility of underwater alien life. Comments on social media have included sentiments about the unknown depths of the ocean and the potential for inter-dimensional craft.
As this narrative continues to unfold, the intrigue surrounding potential underwater alien bases remains a topic of significant public interest and debate.
