Phil Foden Sells Luxury Cheshire Mansion for Nearly £3 Million

Phil Foden has successfully sold his luxury mansion in Cheshire after more than six months on the market. The property, which features an indoor swimming pool, a cinema, and five bathrooms, was sold for nearly £3 million, a reduction from its original asking price of £3.25 million. The sale is currently listed as “sold subject to contract.”

Foden, 25, vacated the Cheshire residence last year, moving to a more secluded home in the countryside. This new location remains within commuting distance of the Manchester City training ground. The four-bedroom house he previously owned includes a gym, a bar, and a hot tub, while the expansive garden is equipped with a swing and a trampoline. Foden shared the property with his partner, Rebecca Cooke, and their three children.

Another property that Foden previously purchased in the same village is also on the market. This house was bought for his mother, who has since moved out after facing alleged harassment from Manchester United supporters. Notable neighbours in the area reportedly include Slade’s Noddy Holder, antiques expert David Dickinson, and the family of ex-Man City defender Kyle Walker, who own an adjacent property.

Foden’s Performance and Return to the England Squad

Foden’s recent performances for Manchester City have contributed to his return to the England squad under manager Thomas Tuchel. He made a significant impact as a second-half substitute during England’s 2-0 victory over Serbia, providing an assist and playing for the final 27 minutes in a subsequent win against Albania. These matches marked a return to international play for Foden, who had been sidelined due to injuries since March 2023.

The latest victory against Albania, secured by two goals from Harry Kane, concluded England’s flawless World Cup qualifying campaign. Foden’s match against Serbia was his first game for the national team since he assisted in a 3-0 win over Latvia earlier this year.

As Foden prepares to return to the pitch, Manchester City is set to face Newcastle in an upcoming Premier League match. The team, revitalized under the management of Pep Guardiola, aims to build on their strong performance this season.
