Jersey Telecoms Welcomes New Chair and Non-Executive Director

Jersey Telecoms has announced the appointment of Andy Green CBE as its new chair, alongside Brian FitzPatrick, who will serve as a non-executive director. This strategic move aims to strengthen the firm’s leadership as it navigates a rapidly evolving telecommunications landscape.

Andy Green brings a wealth of experience to the role. He previously served as the chief executive of BT Global Services and group chief executive of Logica PLC. In recognition of his contributions to the information technology sector and the British space industry, Green was awarded a CBE in 2020. Expressing his enthusiasm for this new position, he stated, “JT has a proud history of innovation and service and I’m delighted to be joining the board at such an exciting time.” He emphasized that the telecoms sector is evolving rapidly and highlighted JT’s potential to lead in areas such as advanced digital infrastructure and world-class managed services.

Alongside Green, Brian FitzPatrick joins the board with significant leadership experience, having served as chief executive of Vodafone Carrier Services and as managing director and president of BT Wholesale. His expertise in the telecommunications sector is expected to enhance JT’s strategic direction.
