Every Child Online Partners with Excel London to Enhance Digital Inclusion

Every Child Online (ECO) has officially become the charity partner of Excel London, a prominent international event venue in Europe. This partnership aims to combat digital exclusion and foster the next generation of digital innovators. By providing access to technology and online safety education, ECO empowers young people to explore their digital potential and future career opportunities.
With over four million visitors and more than 400 major events each year, Excel London serves as an effective platform for ECO to advance its mission. The collaboration opens up avenues for over 35,000 exhibiting companies across various sectors to engage with ECO’s initiatives. These businesses can contribute to digital inclusion while enhancing their sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments through meaningful partnerships.
Michael Tarbard, CEO and Founder of Every Child Online, stated, “This partnership is about more than providing access to devices; it’s about unlocking futures. By working with Excel and its global network, we can equip children and young people not just to connect, but to create, to be safe online, and to see themselves as the digital leaders of tomorrow.”
ECO’s approach encompasses a wide range of projects, from professional IT asset disposal partnerships with leading UK companies to grassroots initiatives that provide young people with their first computer. Through this collaboration, ECO and Excel London aim to inspire businesses to take action and ensure that no young person is left behind in the digital era.
Aligning Goals for Greater Impact
This partnership will enable ECO to showcase its work at Excel’s flagship events. Engaging directly with enterprise leaders, sustainability officers, and IT decision-makers, ECO aims to strengthen its impact on digital inclusion. Through its social enterprise, Everyone Digital CIC, ECO offers accredited IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) services that ensure data security and compliance, while also promoting environmentally responsible practices among corporate donors.
Excel London’s commitment to sustainability is further reflected in its Sustainability & Legacy programme, which focuses on minimizing carbon emissions and waste while fostering positive community impacts. With partnerships that include Neighbourly, City Harvest, Fareshare, and The Felix Project, ECO now joins Excel’s mission to address pressing social and environmental challenges.
Natalie Sykes, Head of Corporate Responsibility Operations at Excel, emphasized the importance of this collaboration. “Excel is committed to creating a sustainable legacy for London and beyond. Partnering with Every Child Online allows us to extend this commitment by tackling digital inequality and supporting young people’s futures, while helping our exhibitors and visitors meet their own sustainability and social impact goals.”
Expanding Opportunities for Young People
The partnership with Excel marks a significant addition to ECO’s expanding network of corporate partnerships. In 2025, ECO has already been appointed as the official charity partner for several major UK exhibitions, including:
– Imagotech Media – DTX and UTX
– Diversified Business Communications UK Ltd – SITS and MSP Show
– Nineteen Group – National Cyber Security Show and International Cyber Expo
– Clarion Events – Cyber Leaders Summit
– Reset Connect – Reset Connect London
– RX Global – Infosecurity Europe
– Hyve UK Events Limited – BETT
– Sports Venue Business – SVB Live
These platforms have enabled ECO to engage with thousands of businesses, many of which have become ongoing supporters, donors, or ITAD partners through the IT Full Circle model.
Every Child Online invites organizations to participate in this vital movement. For Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and IT leaders, there is an opportunity to donate surplus IT through accredited ITAD services. Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) teams can partner with ECO to deliver measurable community and environmental impacts through a new commercial partnership program. Sustainability officers are encouraged to align their circular economy and net-zero commitments with tangible outcomes.
Through these collaborative efforts, ECO and its partners aim to ensure that every child is not only connected but also safe, informed, and empowered as they navigate the digital landscape.
